Vendors sell weapons, ammo, equipment, recruits and consumables.

While helping other factions through quests or killing soldiers of their faction will lower their reputation, selling to vendors will quickly increase your reputation. Depending on your starting reputation, only a couple of solid loot runs are required to unlock Tier 3 for most vendors. Most vendors will buy junk for the same price except for Bunco, who often will buy junk for less.

Currency

Although from different countries and societies, all NPC vendors trade in credits (cr), a common name for currency in futuristic settings.
Nothing is known about the history of credits, whether if they were in use pre-war, how they may have managed to survive the war, or how they might have been established thereafter.
At the start of the game, the player is given 25,000 cr.

Known Issue:

When using the "hide incompatible" filter for weapon parts/attachments, the vendors may not display weapon parts for weapons currently equipped by the player.
