Eurasian Drone
Description
Aerial recon drones deployed to support Eurasian and Euruskan forces. Despite being used primarily for reconnaissance, the drone is armed with light machinegun that it will not hesitate to use on infantry and other drones.
Location
Eurasian Drones will spawn on every map during the day. They will appear in Scrapyard Nexus during the day and also during the Night Shift as part of the Timed Extract.
Strategy
Drones are a constant nuisance on the battlefield, in that unlike other vehicles or automated units, they will alert allies of Scavengers in the area, causing infantry squads that might otherwise ignore Scavs to instead aggro on them. In addition, if a drone is shot down, an infantry squad or additional drones will be deployed to the scene. Because of this, evading drones is the best tactic.
Once alerted, Drones will let out an unnatural distorted 'squawk' that signals it has raised an alert, before engaging the target with prolonged bursts of machinegun fire. While a serious threat to lightly armed Scavs, however, they can usually be taken down with quick bursts from Rifle weapons or other larger calibers, and with one shot from heavy sniper rifles. Engaging them from a distance with suppressed weapons can be used to bait other AI to investigate the crash site, drawing them away from the location you want to sneak into.
Drones can be evaded with some practice by watching their spotlight angle, as this indicates the direction it is scanning in.

Trivia
- Concept art shows them being used for abduction, grabbing infantry with their claws. This is not implemented in the game (yet).
- Other concept art shows Euruskan Riders using them as vehicles, though this has also not yet been implemented.
- Depending on the map, the ping on Eurasian drones will sometimes be displayed as "Euruskan Drone". Specifically, the drones on Frozen Swamp will ping as Euruskan; Euruskan drones have also been spotted on Mech Trenches and Ashen Mesa. This might suggest that Eurasia exports their drones to Euruska.
