We're making good progress. The gun can fire. But for the sake of usability we're still missing some components. Most important of which is the control system. The brain of this gun. The short of it is, this piece will automate voltages and such that you'd have to set manually. I may have heard that a train cutting through the Swamp is carrying such cargo. I'd suggest taking a Drill with you.

Loading scripts
The component is found in one of several locked compartments in the armored train in the east. They are accessible from the side of the train car and require a Drill each, up to four. You can buy drills from Heisenburg or Bunco or find it in raid. Drills have a good chance of spawning inside the train or in the nearby control room for the drawbridge. A Tactical Camera can help you find the right compartment.
Be careful as the train is heavily guarded by several squads of Europan Soldiers. Killing all of them will then trigger infinite waves of Europan Drones.
To use the drill, approach the drillable area until you get the prompt, cycle consumables (default 3) until you get the drill, then use it (default 4) and wait until the drilling is done.
This quest is replayable for extra parts.
